We were very excited to see our architect, Tom of McElroy Architecture, being featured in the SF chronicle this past Sunday for his great work helping his clients make the most of the properties they have and doing it keeping their budget and desires in sync!
To quote the article …
McElroy said it’s common to find Bay Area residents, especially young ones, wanting to be involved in the remodel process and incorporating reclaimed materials with the design.
“There’s a lot more involvement with recycling and people are kind of rolling up their sleeves and getting involved with the work themselves,” he said.
This is definitely true of us and our remodel situation and we are super happy to have Tom on board helping us guide this project through to the finish line. We love his style and ethos and he’s been happy to let us lead the decisions in the house project but willingly giving advice whenever we need it. He’s taken our exact vision and translated it into something real and has done so within our crazy small budget!
